Visa Arrangements
Delegates of The Union World Conference on Lung Health 2024
There are four main categories of countries based on their visa requirements in Indonesia.
Visa requests typically take one to two weeks to process, hence we strongly recommend securing your visa at least two weeks before your departure. Once you have your visa, please pay attention to the permitted duration of your stay, as The Union will not be responsible for any penalties that may arise from overstaying. Please read and follow the instructions carefully.
- Countries that do not need a visa. These include Brunei Darussalam, The Philippines, Kamboja, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Participants from this country do not need a visa but they need to register on the website https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id/ under Government Business purpose and choose the A4 type of visa. To register, you need to have:
- Passport validity for at least 6 months.
- Outbound ticket from Indonesia.
- Invitation letter (will also need to be presented at the immigration office at the airport)
- Countries that are eligible for visa on arrival. There are 97 countries that are eligible for visa on arrival. You can get this visa when you arrive at the airport but we strongly recommend you get your visa prior to To register your visa, go to https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id/, choose your country and select Government Business purpose and chose the B4 type of visa. To register, you need to have:
- Passport validity for at least 6 months.
- Outbound ticket from Indonesia.
- Invitation letter (will also need to be presented at the immigration office at the airport)
- IDR 500.000 visa cost
- Participants from Afghanistan, Israel, North Korea, Liberia, Nigeria and Somalia. Participants from these countries need to submit their visa request to the Indonesian government. Choose your country and select Government Business purpose and choose the C4 type of visa. To register, you need to prepare:
- Passport validity for at least 6 months.
- Formal Photo with white or red background
- Personal bank statement with a minimum balance of USD 2000 over the last three months
- Invitation letter (will also need to be presented at the immigration office at the airport)
- Guarantee letter
- IDR 2.000.000 visa cost
- Participants not mentioned above need to submit their visa requests to the Indonesian government. Choose your country and select Government Business purpose and choose the C4 type of visa. To register, you need to prepare:
- Passport validity for at least 6 months.
- Formal Photo with white or red background
- Personal bank statement with a minimum balance of USD 2000 over the last three months
- Invitation letter (will also need to be presented at the immigration office at the airport)
- Guarantee letter
- IDR 2.000.000 visa cost (paid through the Guarantor)
For delegates who are ineligible to avail of the Visa on Arrival facility, BACOMA is a corporate entity authorised to provide guarantees for individuals or organizations seeking to obtain visas in Indonesia for those who would like to attend The Union World Conference on Lung Health 2024.
Due to the visa approval process managed by the Immigration Office and the necessity for applicants to submit documents in the correct format, we recommend contacting BACOMA as soon as possible to begin your visa application. They can support visa submissions for Calling Visa countries (Afghanistan, Israel, North Korea, Liberia, Nigeria, and Somalia) until Friday, October 25, 2024.
